Lauren, a Rockport native, returned to her hometown in 2010 after graduating from the University of Texas at San Antonio. Her passion for nature and environmental education drew her back to the coastal bend. Before coming to Rockport Properties, she had a career as an animal trainer specializing in exotic and native animals including birds (i.e. hawks, eagles, and parrots) and mammals (i.e. sloths), as well as assisting with stranded sea turtles.
