As one of this year’s proud Fleet Admiral Underwriters, Rockport Properties is pleased to be a part of the 2016 Rockport Festival of Wine and Food taking place this 2016 Memorial Day weekend on the grounds of the Texas Maritime Museum at 1202 Navigation Circle in Rockport, Texas. Established in 1997 as a way to raise operational funds for the museum, this popular festival is now celebrating its 20th year and is expected to attract well over 2,500 visitors from over 26 states to sample some of the finest wines available.
Featuring over 100 varieties of wines, beer booths, shopping vendors and live music, the Rockport Festival of Wine and Food provides plenty of opportunity to sample a large selection of world class wines and partake in some fantastic shopping and entertainment. Wine can be sampled by the taste or glass and there’s even the opportunity to purchase your favorite by the bottle or even by the case. The Rockport Festival of Wine and Food allows visitors to sample a variety of wines, including some rare and expensive vintages, by the glass. For a break from the wine tasting, visitors to the festival can enjoy a cold beer, have a bite from a number of food vendors or browse over 25 shops featuring local artworks, jewelry and foods; all under the big tent.
This year’s event runs on Saturday, May 28th from 2pm to 11pm and on Sunday, May 29th from 2pm to 10pm. Admission to this fantastic festival is $25 for a one day pass or $40 for a two day pass per person and includes three taste tickets, an event program and a commemorative wine glass. For the full VIP experience, a $50 one day or $90 two day pass will provide access to specialty food items reserved seating at the demonstrations and 20 wine tasting and 6 hot food tickets.
